Cultural Connection presents femm

Femke Hofhuis, the founder of femm, will showcase her new exhibition, titled “Softening Souls”, on the third-floor atrium of the hotel. Driven by a mission to soften souls and spread positive vibrations in a world that is often overwhelmed with negative news, she intentionally infuses elegant details to uplift hearts through her art.

Reflecting on her personal journey and relying heavily on ME Dubai’s remarkable design for inspiration, she has devoted herself to alleviating the mental and emotional wellbeing of those she’s able to touch through her art. Her latest collection of ethereal artworks led to a series of collaborations, as she believes that collective creativity provides an opportunity to produce limitless results. As guests wander through the open space, they will discover a series of works that resemble oversized jewellery, each characterised

by the unique use of reflective materials and pearl finishes. The collection, which incorporates the interplay of light within the space, showcases elegant and feminine metal wall sculptures that were brought to life in collaboration with Dubai-based industrial special and gallery, Metal Fabrik.

Upon further exploration of the space, visitors can marvel at exclusive embroidered textiles developed in partnership with artisanal and bespoke manufacturer Tulio, featuring a unique combination of patterns, textures, and colour to please the eye. Celebrated for her distinctive and signature style, art enthusiasts will have the pleasure to admire a selection of sophisticated mirror and glass pieces crafted in partnership with BOND Interiors and DSA Glass. As guests admire the reflections, they can reflect upon how spaces are enhanced and enriched when art concepts are imbued with vibrancy.
