Expo Live I Dytech Limited
Dytech uses unwanted wood waste and off cuts from commercial wood processing centres and plantations to produce thousands of ZamHives® in an outgrower scheme that is able to produce honey from the untouched ecologically stable virgin forests and carefully selected rural areas of Africa. Each double-deck hive costs around US$ 4 and is highly productive, enabling beekeepers to produce high-value honey for export to global markets. The project offers a commercially scalable, sustainable model that has a positive social economic impact to the lives of thousands in rural communities in Africa.
